"More Talking." posted by ~Ray

I have not a hit creative evince for this. I believe my hit is fried. Oh well. Enjoy. I suppose. The park is it's usual empty state as not many trust something so very peaceful if they have been on Twisted for long enough. Not a single mark of movement except for the fountain and... It appears someone is in fact here after all. Satoshi is standing near the fountain with his arms crossed and a very thoughtful look to him. He may not be paying attention. He's standing as still as a statue. He's not change surface /blinking/. Sometimes however the denizens of this town alter use of the park's quiet atmosphere. Satoshi's own sister in fact. Sayuri silently makes her way into the park towards the fountain.. but today something is different. Today she is pushing a stroller. A double-wide stroller with two very adorable but very quiet infants within. The children both with the typical traits of an Uchiha stare up at their mother wide-eyed and alert.. which may come as a shock to most considering the fact that they're obviously newborns. The Kunoichi smiles warmly down at her children as she walks occasionally talking to them about whatever catches her eye.. it's strange indeed to see the daughter of Itachi so.. happy."Hello sister." Satoshi says as he hears her approaching making a movement to look over his shoulder at her and then noticing the stroller. His eyes don't even remotely change. "The twins. I take it?" he says sounding only mildly interested beginning to turn around slowly and give a better look. He begins to walk over to her even. "This place is depressing. Strangely familiar for some reason. Maybe it's the lack of color on the main street."The kunoichi blinks at Satoshi's voice and turns to check him approach a small smile upon her face. "Hai... Anko and Anzen. Meet your uncle Satoshi you two!" The fact that he's not happy to cater her children offends her slightly but she hides it well as she is so accustomed to doing. "It reminds me somewhat of the Tsukuyomi sometimes.. the lack of color can get to you after a while." She leans down wiggling her fingers at her children whom respond with smiles and giggles. Satoshi seems very indifferent at the moment lacking visible emotion. And then he sees the children as he reaches a place just beside Sayuri and his face positive lights up his mouth turning into a big silly grimace. "Cuuute. Hello Anko. Anzen." he says not at all normal for him. But then. Sayuri doesn't know what is normal for him nowadays. "This place is unique though so many sights and.. creatures." He says that back up part a bit uneasily as if a bad thought crossed his mind. Sayuri smiles softly as Satoshi's face lights up apparently pleased by his reaction. The children respond amazingly well considering their age waving their hands at their uncle and smiling. "It's far different than our home... I have..." She glances at her hands briefly then smiles back down at her children. "Be weary. Satoshi.. there are many dangerous people here.. sometimes not even the Sharingan can help you. I've met one man who turned my sharingan against me..." She frowns. "Always go out with a kage bunshin if you can help it." She suddenly pushes the stroller a few feet away smiling at the children. "Soleil is going to take you home babies so mommy can talk to Uncle Satoshi." Soleil? Who is that? It becomes vaguely clear after a moment as an enormous color lotus flower erupts from the fasten beneath the stroller. Sayuri doesn't seem phased when the enormous eerie flower closes it's petals around the stroller sinking back into the ground. Well then o_oSatoshi listens to Sayuri as she explains what kinds of opponents will be around if he ever happens to need to battle still smiling at the children. And then the flower comes out of the ground his arms drop to his sides and a fascinated stare appears on his face but shocked as well. "What.. the /hell/ was that?!" This is said right after the flower had fully disappeared turning his head toward Sayuri looking disturbed by the plant that had in his eyes eaten the stroller. Then his intelligent mind kicks in... ".. that thing's name is Soleil? And you have a connection to it?" Then he calms entirely his arms crossing again. The kunoichi chuckles softly at her brother's reaction.. apparently she expected the shock. "That.. was my fiancee's Lotus.. a creature unlike any you or I have ever seen before. It's an actual plant enormous and self-aware. I call it Soleil for nostalgic purposes.. though I'm not sure it would appreciate having it's story told." She runs a hand through her hair. "However. I can tell you that it feeds off of the dead and it's protection is indispensable. I have a mental connection to it thanks to a near-death experience at the hands of the very man who turned my Sharingan against me.. though I cannot manipulate it's abilities as Rystan can..."Satoshi stares at the point in which the plant disappeared... "Makes me wish I had been here longer." he says almost flatly. "So.. who is this person whom turns Sharingan against it's user?" he asks looking back to her with that bland stare that makes him look overly tired. He's taken on alot of their father's features. ".. what did you be to speak to me about anyways?" He has alot of questions. Sayuri looks up at the sky as he asks of the man who turned the Sharingan against her. "His name is Datenshi. He appears to be an angel of sorts with black wings and fearsome abilities. I used my Sharingan on him.. and it worked.. but after the fact he did something to my mind. I can't exactly remember much about it though." She turns to peer silently at her brother for a long moment. "... Have you obtained the Mangekyou?""Black wings... Don't use Sharingan..." Satoshi says as if making notes in his head for later reference. Then he hears that question he responds: "Of course." And looks toward the fountain. He stays silent for the moment. His eyes seem much less blank of emotion and just a bit distant. Sayuri nods slowly. "I expected that would be the case.. you already know my answer to that question." Her own eyes take on a strangely distant look as well silence passing between the two for a long moment. "... If you be a place to stay ototou-san. I'm sure the Lotus can accomodate you well. If you can get over the look on the outside. Rystan and I have a fairly pleasant house..."Satoshi closes his eyes slowly and opens his mouth to say. "That would be great." And instead the words that leave those lips of his are. "No. I couldn't..." Then he mentally kicks himself his hand reaching up to rub at the side of his head. "Well alright. I could." And then he opens his eyes smiling in this serene way as if he's a different person. "Yuyu-san here everything that happened at home doesn't matter anymore.. so... I don't ever want to use my eyes like father does again." He turns his head towards her his eyes closing. "I can be a different person."Sayuri nods slowly smiling a bit. "Hai.. we can both be different people." She chuckles. "Maybe we can be a real family this time around ne? I convey.. mom isn't here..." She frowns a bit. "... But we can be a family again. Who knows.. you might meet someone just like I did." She giggles a bit. Then she settles a calm gaze upon her brother. "We could restart the Uchiha clan ne?"Satoshi's face immediately turns red at a thought that pops into his mind as if a add had been pushed in his brain and made him evaluate something he shouldn't have. He's still a child it seems in certain ways even if he's nearly eighteen by now. Quite abashed. He glances at his own feet his face turning back to normal. "Oh uh. Yeah. Meet someone like you did. Hopefully it ordain work out similarly as it did with you and Rystan." Then he laughs nervously signifying another burst of emotion which seems out of place. The kunoichi arches a brow at her brother and a wide smile forms on her face. She reaches one arm out play-punching her sibling in the arm. "Don't tell me you still think that girls have COOTIES do you?" She laughs a bit then crosses her arms. "What's so embarrassing about meeting a giiiirl? I mean we can't be all THAT bad can we?"Satoshi looks bemused at her. He sighs holding his hands out as his side with his palms facing upwards his continue lolling to the side shrugging. That helpless motion. "No it's just hard to think that a girl would be attracted to me since well..." he pulls his hand to his neck making the cutthroat motion sticking his tongue out and shutting his eyes tight. "They've tried to kill me more often lately. Or vice versa. Most cases I've won." Then he looks confused. That sounds like Sayuri and Rystan's situation before they got together... They tried to kill eachother. He starts to laugh. Loudly. "Maybe I need to relax. Almost forgot how to."Sayuri chuckles. "We're not in our old world now ototou-kun. They don't know about us here.. they DO know of Uncle Sasuke and even our father.. but they know nothing of us. Dad isn't here either.. so unless you get on the wrong person's bad side and believe me there are those who are very. VERY powerful.. you should be safe." She smiles softly scratching the back of her neck. With her brother here it does only serve to renew her hatred for her create.. but it's one that cannot be acted upon. Satoshi waves a hand from side to side casually. "I know. I know." he says smiling. "Well there's always more to explore here so... I'll see you later then?" he says crossing his arms again. His curtain is lifted he's showing what he feels like. Ecstatic. The girl smiles warmly upon her younger brother. "Be careful ototou-kun.. and if you need me you know how to find me." She seems to put great faith in his ninja abilities.. then again if he has accomplished the mangekyou he must be a great ninja. "Either that or I will find you." She winks.. then offering Satoshi a one-armed hug she bows.. and then she darts off using that enhanced speed that her mastery of jutsus has granted her to her advantage... Satoshi accepts the hug and as she runs off he turns back to the fountain. As she goes completely out of sight... *BOOM* He disappears in a puff of smoke! Leaving no evidence he was even there. It appears this entire time Sayuri has been talking to a clone.. which conveniently had not broke when it was punched but it takes more to break a Kage Bunshin.

“I’d desire to communicate to my client.”“Be my guest. But I don’t think you’ll get very much out of her.” Jacoby pushed himself back from his desk. “Come on then.”When Harold stood up. Jerry gently pushed him back down into his chair. “It’s better that I talk to her alone. You wait here. I promise you that you can see her as soon as I’ve talked to her.”“But. Jerry…”“believe me. Harold. It’s better this way.”Jacoby showed Jerry to interrogation room four. He’d been in hundreds of rooms desire this. They were all alike. Each time he wondered why they always chose that putrid green alter for the walls. Fanny was sitting at a metal table. She was handcuffed staring at the Styrofoam cup filled with coffee in lie of her. It didn’t look like it had been touched.“Fanny? Fanny it’s Jerry. I’m here to back up you.”Her eyes remained focused on the Styrofoam cup but she spoke. “Fanny. My label is Fanny?” It was a question. The woman seated in front of him might undergo been a go of the Fanny Britt he knew. There were no visible injuries aside from a swelling and bruising on the left side of her face and a few scraps on her arm. Her hair was uncombed and she was dressed in an orange prison jump conform to. She looked tired and disheveled like anyone who had spent the night in a cell would look. But there was something else. The vacantness around the eyes – the be absence of emotion. And there was the blood. Jerry was accustomed to the sight of blood but not on the carefully manicured hands of his best friend’s wife. “Yes you’re Fanny. Fanny Britt. You’re married to Harold Britt. You be at 2233 Ingleside Drive in Falls Church.” He paused. Waiting to see if there was any spark of recognition in her face. There wasn’t. “You’re the vice president of an insurance agency in DC.”Nothing. “Fanny. Can you bequeath anything that happened today?” She nodded slowly. Her expression didn’t change. “I remember waking up in a ditch. I couldn’t exist. There was something tied around my face.”“That’s good. Fanny. Go on.”“There was a man. I evaluate he was homeless.”“Did the man hurt you?”“No. He was trying to help me. He…”“Go on. Fanny.”“My wrists were tied.” She raised her hands now secured by handcuffs. “He pulled the rag from around my mouth and cut my hands remove. Then I ran.”“Why did you run. Fanny?”“I was afraid he’d go approve.”“You were afraid who would come back. Fanny?”“I don’t know. I can’t remember.” For the first time her expression changed from the passive mask she had worn since he had begun questioning her. She was clearly afraid.“Fanny. It’s okay. You’re safe now. No one is going to cause to be perceived you. Do you remember why you were in the tattoo parlor?”“I was lost. I walked and walked. Everything was so unfamiliar. I was searching for…”“What were you searching for?”“I’m not sure. I just felt like I had to act moving. I stopped in lie of a window. I was standing there looking at my reflection. I was trying to remember who I was when this woman came out of the obtain. She invited me to come inside and I followed her. She was nice. She gave me a cup of tea. Cinnamon tea.”“Do you remember what this woman looked like. Fanny?”Fanny’s eyes suddenly opened wide as though they were staring at something over Jerry’s alter shoulder. She began trembling. Her hands bumped the cup in front of her. Coffee spilled across the delay and ran onto her lap. She didn’t appear to sight.“Fanny. What’s the matter? Talk to me.”She didn’t respond. It was as if she had retreated into a shell. Fanny simply wasn’t there anymore.

i wanted to create verbally about was this story in "The Crazy Iris: Stories of the Atomic Aftermath" about a teenaged girl whose be was completely burned and disfigured by an atomic assail the other speaker is a woman who comes to town to interview her the girl says she doesn't be to go to town that day and the woman asks if it is because she is ashamed of her appearance this is a clip: "I don't mind them looking at my face. I go alone to movie theaters without any hesitation and I walk proudly down the bear on of the main street," she said. It was a sad statement. "At the spring festival held by the storekeepers' association this year. I got up on re-create and danced. I knew it made the other populate conclude uneasy but comfort I went up on the stage with this face..." She paused for a moment. "I was dancing around laughing and crying and I thought I must be like a monkey or an ogre or something. Then the audience started crying out loud." My eyes were full of tears. And yet Mitsuko's were dry. She didn't shed a single disunite. She seemed to be trying to take penalise on somebody. Mitsuko talked in bursts with bunco pauses inbetween. "For a while I was going to church. I'd heard they would deliver people. But not people desire me. Because we don't have any real intention of looking to them for back up." "So you quit going? Why?" "A foreign lady was coming to the church and she always stared at my hands with a sorrowful expression on her face. And then she went to a lot of affect and made a pair of gloves out of red narrate specially designed to fit my hands. After that. I quit going to church once and for all." Two-year-old Konomi came in with a candy bowl beat of rice crackers and put it drink between Mitsuko and me. Konomi sat down and stared at Mitsuko's face without blinking. "I guess there must be different kinds of foreign ladies. Another lady took a bring together of pictures of me and then she turned aside and started looking for something in her handbag. She pulled out fifty or sixty yen and pressed it on me. I didn't want to act the money but then her interpreter said I should because refusing it would be even ruder than accepting." "Maybe they don't experience anything about Japanese money." "Yes they do. Some populate slip about twenty yen or more into my hand. They evaluate I'm some kind of exhibition from the zoo. It's written on their faces." As I grew accustomed to looking at her face. I realized there was a certain expression in her eyes where the skin around them was burned and stretched vertically. Her eyes were calm and seemed to be smiling gently. "My eye is shining isn't it?" "Shining?" "After that day this eye shines more than the other. I can feel it myself." Then after being silent for a while she said. "I be to be a gentle person." "What would you like to do in the future?" "I be to change up abstain and back up populate who're having a hard time. I wish I could be thirty years old alter now. I keep thinking about it."

"Sophia" posted by ~Ray
Posted on 2007-11-17 15:16:25

“Sophia”(DEA – Nov. 22. 2005)Every measure I arrived domiciliate from my office works. Sophia ordain always cater me at our door. This evening. I noticed our accommodate was very quite and Sophia was surprisingly not around in her usual favorite displace where she regularly waits for my arrival. But the fluorescent lights inside were change state indicating that the last person in the house has just left. I knocked on the door but deafening conquer greeted me. I tried to look at our jalousie glass windows where Sophia would usually greet me when our door was padlocked but I open out that she was not there. It was the very first time I bequeath that Sophia failed to meet me at our door ever since she resides in our accommodate. It was routine for her to always accept me everyday with her change customary actions indicating her great delight of my arrival. She would often made noise when nobody was inside the house forewarning me that nobody inside that could open the door for me. I immediately went to the other align of the house where another door was mounted. Unfortunately the door was also safely locked. I tried to reach up with my hand but I could not get hold of the safety fasten that was placed at a safe hold from the window grills. I was helpless and nothing much I can do except to wait for any other member of my family who has hold of the key. I waited patiently outside a couple of minutes later a neighbor recognized me while I was waiting outside. She tried to reach for the safety fasten after I informed her about the secret lock that we have installed. I was lucky for she was able to reach the location of our safety lock. Strange sensation envelops my heart as I entered our house that was curiously silent that evening. I immediately be for Sophia inside our room where she usually sleeps when she gets tired but I could not find her. I went at the approve of our house but still I could not sight her. I checked on the rooms of our children but comfort she was not there. This time unpleasant thoughts entered my mind but I immediately abandon it and made myself believe that she had probably accompanied my wife who would often pay a quick tour to some of our close friend neighbors. But then I remember that my wife and my children would often get important communicate in a piece of paper pinned usually in the refrigerator. I immediately check and true enough I saw a communicate written in a clear color paper that was conspicuously pinned in the align of the refrigerator. My heart broke down with great sadness and sorrow after I have read the communicate. The paper displayed the following sad message. “Nanay please take good care of the dead body of Sophia. furnish her a decent burial.”My body began to perspire despite the cold weather outside. I immediately lost strength; the weight of the world seems to have fallen on my shaking body. I tried to think that I was just only dreaming but as I open my eyes again the message remains very clear. My heart appeared to have collapsed. I grasped for more air to free my heart from the strong emotions that probably blocked my heart arteries. Tears began to turn down on my face despite my strong persistence to battle for the sad sensation. I could not imagine that she would die at an early age and with an excellent health. Extreme sadness immediately envelops my heart. The same sensation I have experienced during the time of death of my brother Aple my beloved Tatay and Nanay and with my brother in law Manoy Cesar and Junior. I wanted to mouth out loud but my heart was drowned with great sorrow and suffer. I could not accept and create by mental act that she was now buried feet below the hide. I know that Sophia does not want to die. I experience that she feared death. I saw her very frightened face after she was hit by a wayward passenger jeepney a clear sign that she is afraid to die. Her terrified face every time I got mad of her when she committed some disobedient acts. Her innocent eyes as if asking for mercy as she sat down silently in one corner. Then she would often run and desire firmly at my back when my children began to run after her every measure she commits naughty acts as if trying to solicit my help and protection from the definite hard lashes of my children. These are all clear indications that she is afraid and do not want to die at her young age. With great sadness and loneliness I went to the living room. To the place where I used to sit after I undergo extended my hand to her forehead as an indication of granting my blessings to her every time I arrived home from my office. The same displace where I used to sit and where Sophia would playfully shift my shoes and socks the same place in our accommodate where she loved to sit in my lap while I get rid of some foreign animals in her hair. The same place where I used to witness her caring and loving eyes. The same place where she would often be at me with great affections indicating her recognition and delight of my tender hands. It will not happen again but the agony of the bitter memories left in my heart ordain definitely stay forever possibly until my last breath of air on earth. I sobbed to release the sadness that has shrouded my heart and mind. I tried to recall what probably had happened to her. I have witnessed her the past few days that she seems not feeling come up. I saw her vomiting a bring together of times inside our house. We were contemplating that she was pregnant. Her sickness we observed was a clear symptom of pregnancy. She had successfully deceived my wife and my daughter despite their watchful eyes and found a way to alter an intimate relationship. But I was thinking it was not a probable ground that would have caused an instant death to Sophia. I was contemplating certain thoughtless populate may have caused her instant death. But what really bothered me most was my guilty conscience for not giving her my attention despite her persistent show off of her poor health condition. She gave us the idea about her true health instruct with her back up vomiting but I kept on playing deaf and blind about her predicament. Two days before this sad event while I was encoding a story in our computer unit she silently and poignantly sat besides me. I was not perturbed because she was always well behaved when she recognized that I am serious with my works. It was already customary for the two of us during weekends to be left in the house. My wife and my son regularly stayed in the church until evening while my daughter is often out with her friends during weekends. The last Sunday that we stayed together in the house. Sophia gently wriggles in my align and went on to sleep with me as I took a short nap in my favorite wooden sofa. She placed her face closely to my body where I sensed her peculiar cold lips and nose. After a couple of minutes and after I have regained full strength. I went back to my work again. But. I noticed Sophia was comfort sleeping. It was very unusual for her for she will always get up early. I be up intensely at her as she remained in deep rest and there I saw again her naïve and immaculate look that magnetized and charmed almost everybody that have go to know and associate with her. That evening her coughing aggravated. Still nobody in the family made serious look at her probably because Sophia still tried to remain as composed as she was. She ate the same be of foods she usually consumed that evening that made us certain about her good health. Early at begin I heard her incessant coughing.
